I designed an advanced image processing workflow that ensures maximum precision by splitting the task:
- Smart Detection (YOLOv8): The system first locates the vehicle and then pinpoint-detects the license plate. Using custom-trained models ensures stable performance even in challenging visual environments.
- High-Accuracy Recognition (PaddleOCR): I integrated a powerful OCR engine optimized for alphanumeric characters, allowing for flawless interpretation of license plate numbers.
